Every engagement starts with a written scope — a precise definition of what gets built, to what specification, and by when. Nothing is ambiguous. If it's not in the confirmed scope document, it doesn't get built in this engagement. Out-of-scope additions are flagged in writing before any additional effort is committed. No silent creep. No surprise invoices.
